Help plant shoreline vegetation to enhance Myrtle Lake's ecosystem and water quality

The Seminole County Lake Management Program and the SERV Program invite you to help us plant shoreline vegetation to improve ecosystem function, habitat, and water quality at Myrtle Lake. Please note that we'll be working in the water - part of the fun is getting muddy & wet! DATE/TIME: 6/6/26, 9 am - noon KICK-OFF: 1968 Deerview Place, Longwood, FL COST: Free ATTIRE: Closed toe shoes are required (e.g. boots, water shoes, old sneakers that can get wet). Old clothes, work gloves, and sun protection are recommended. ADDITIONAL: Sun protection and bug protection may be desired LIABILITY FORM: Each volunteer must turn in a completed liability form upon arrival.
