Join Keep Pinellas Beautiful for a community beach cleanup at TradeWinds Island Resort every second Saturday of the month

Keep Pinellas Beautiful is excited to kick off the 2026 Great American Cleanup (GAC), taking place from March 1st through June 30th across Pinellas County. The Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup® is the nation’s largest community improvement initiative, uniting thousands of communities in service each year. From individuals and families to students, civic groups, businesses, and government partners, our volunteers share a common goal: protecting and enhancing the environmental health of the place we call home. Join Keep Pinellas Beautiful and TradeWinds Island Resort for a beach cleanup the second Saturday of every month! Please note: Volunteers under the age of 18 need to be signed in by a parent or guardian. Volunteers under the age of 15 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event. Special thanks to our GAC sponsors: Pinellas County, FDOT, Surfing's Evolution & Preservation Foundation, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Waste Pro, KnowBe4, Molex, City of St. Petersburg, City of Largo, City of Clearwater. *** TIME: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM WHERE: TradeWinds Island Grand Resort - 5500 Gulf Blvd, St. Pete Beach, FL. Please meet at the south end of the resort in the starred area below. Park in the south parking lot and meet us on the beach! WHAT TO WEAR: Please wear closed toed shoes such as boots or sneakers and weather appropriate clothing. We recommend a hat or sunglasses too. WHAT TO EXPECT: All cleanup supplies are provided including reusable gloves, trash bags, trash pickers, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and bug spray. Bring your own bucket if you have one! A water refill station will be available, please bring a refillable water bottle. PARKING: When you arrive at TradeWinds, please park in the south parking lot.
